2000 Cabernet Sauvignon
Ruby, crimson red, this wine has concentrated cherries and blackberries on the nose. A touch of leather, oak and light spice compliment the fruit characters. Soft rounded tannins with an almost velvety texture lifted by black cherry and blackberry flavours, with a long, lingering palate. This is a medium bodied but complex wine resulting from the very long ripening of the grapes. Drinking well in 2005 – 2006.
