1997 Shiraz
March 2004: Dark, crimson red with berries, fruitcake, liquorice and smoky cedar on the nose. Explosions of sweet, rich, fruit on the palate with silky mouth-coating tannins. Well balanced acids add to the freshness of this wine. Medium to full bodied, the mouth-filling flavours persist to provide excellent palate length. After 7 years the first commercial vintage is showing its value as a cellaring wine as well as being immensely drinkable now.
